Music
The Music Ministry at Holy Trinity is led by Choir Director Rebecca Bowman, Organist Trey Williams, and Children’s Choir Director Cynthia Spejewski.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is made up of faithful volunteers. We sing an broad range of choral music, from ancient chants to newly-composed anthems, and from beloved gospel hymns and spirituals to high-church classics of the Anglican choral tradition.
The Choir sings at the 10:30 Holy Eucharist services on Sundays from mid-August through June and rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM (except for Summer). The choir also sings at various special services throughout the year, including Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter Vigil. We also typically offer Choral Evensong at least twice per year, typically in October and May.
The Chancel Choir is always recruiting new members. There is no audition required, though members should be able to match pitch. Music reading ability and prior choral experience are helpful but not mandatory.
Children’s Choir
Children’s Choir is directed by Cynthia Spejewski. Children in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade are welcome to join the choir. The Children’s Choir sings at the first-Sunday Family Holy Eucharist throughout the year, as well as Lessons and Carols and Easter Sunday.
Instrumentalists
Holy Trinity is honored to welcome various guest musicians throughout the year. We typically feature a string trio at Christmas Eve and on other special occasions, as well as a brass ensemble at Easter and All Saint’s Sunday. These ensembles would not be possible without the generous special contributions of our parishioners, which can be made in honor or memory of loved ones.
We also feature various guest instrumentalists, both volunteers around the parish and paid instrumentalists throughout the year, particularly in the Summer. Parishioners with the ability to play an instrument are encouraged to contact one of the Music Ministers.

Holy Trinity is blessed to have several fine instruments to lead worship.
Nave Pipe Organ
The Nave Pipe Organ was built in 2020 by Lincoln Pipe Organs of Lincolnton, NC, as part of our broader Nave Enhancement project. The majority of the pipes were originally built in 1964 by the Schantz Organ Company of Orrville, OH, and installed in another church. These pipes were reconfigured by Lincoln Pipe Organs with new mechanical and electronic components for our nave. There are approximately 1000 pipes.
Pipe Organ at St. Paul's
At St. Paul’s we are stewards of a pipe organ built in 1848 by Jardine of New York. Although equipped with a modern blower, the organ can also be supplied with wind manually using the original bellows. The organ features approximately 150 pipes.
Grand Piano
Our nave also features a 6’1” Millennium Series grand piano built by Kohler and Campbell. This instrument features a beautiful rosewood finish, and has a beautiful sound which allows us to authentically lead gospel hymns, accompany modern anthems, and perform classic piano literature, as well as lead worship when the power is out.
Bell Tower
The bell tower features sixteen bells cast by the former Van Bergen bell foundry in Greenwood, SC in 1963. The bells were previously installed in the tower of the old Holy Trinity church building with mechanical action and were reinstalled in the current building in 2008 with an electronic control system. The bells are programmed to automatically play music at 11:45 AM daily.
