Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Schedule: year-long
Leader: Rector

Lectionary-based Bible study that meets weekly by Zoom to look at usually three readings for the upcoming Sunday. Participants take turns reading the lessons aloud, with time taken for reflection and discussion of each, often connecting to their daily lives and past experiences.

This group has been following the Bishop’s Read initiative, reading through the Bible in a year using The Path, and reading the Gospel of John, using NT Wright's study guide. Next in line: The Rule of St. Benedict.

Signs & Grace

Schedule: Sunday afternoon, September 2026
Leader: Rector

This is a three-week video program from Forward Movement that introduces the Sacraments in an engaging and theologically rich presentation, prompting conversation and exploration of the experiences of participants with the Sacraments. This group will meet in the Parish Hall at 4:00 pm on Sunday afternoons.

Discovery Class 2027

Schedule: Sunday afternoon, January-March 2027
Leader: Rector

This is an eight-week course introducing basics of the Christian faith, the particulars of our Anglican/Episcopal heritage, and the whys and hows of membership at Holy Trinity. We will continue with our use of Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices. This group will meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 with a hybrid option available via Zoom. 

Women’s Retreat 2027

Schedule: January 29-31
Leader: guided by a priest and led by lay women

This year’s retreat topic is still under development.

Men’s Book Group

Schedule: meets most months, usually on the third Saturday at 9 am
Leader: group-led

The group selects their own books to discuss. They cover a wide range of topics but usually can be linked to theology. Because the readings are typically provocative, our discussions range freely and widely, inspired by the content of the books but not strictly confined to them. Those interested are invited even if they are unable to finish the selected book. The group meets at the home of a parishioner and coffee and pastries are provided.

Bishop Reads

Schedule: Sunday afternoon, October - November 2026
Leader: Rector

This will be a five-week book study of Carmen Imes's book, Being in God's Image: Why Creation Still Matters, that explores the biblical theme of Imago Dei, the doctrine that our identity as human beings is extricably bound up with our creation in God's image. This group will meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 with a hybrid option available via Zoom. 

Advent Quiet Day
